Crystal Lake, IL, November 14, 2018- WEATHER GUARD®, an industry leader in truck and van equipment, today announced the winner of the Nominate-A-Veteran Giveaway promotion. In honor of Veteran’s Day, one winner was selected from more than 400 submissions to receive a once-in-a-lifetime adventure hunting trip with Tim Montana, the popular country music singer and songwriter.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity
The winner of the Nominate-A-Veteran Giveaway promotion is Cory Bono, chosen from over 400 submissions. Cory served in the Army with a tour in Iraq from 2004 – 2005 and worked as a Parish Deputy for 12 years in New Orleans. Cory was nominated by his friend, Bobby Jones, for supporting him for years through a series of life-threatening medical issues. Providing hospital visits, words of support, and a hand to hold, Cory supported his friend and fellow law enforcement official during the long fight for his health. Cory is currently working as a Reserve Jefferson Parish Constable and is an outdoorsman in his free time.
Cory will receive an exclusive opportunity to hunt, fish and explore Nashville with country music star Tom Montana, an avid outdoorsman. The three-day, two-night trip includes two airline tickets, lodging, Nashville sightseeing and more.
The contest ran from October 1- November 1, 2018 and in order to be entered, a veteran had to be nominated by a friend or family member along with an explanation of why they deserve to win.
