Mike - Handyman

I want to nominate my brother-in-law Mike as my #WEATHERGUARDhero! Mike has a special story and we are fortunate to have him in our lives today. For the past 5 years he has been free from addiction thanks to No Longer Bound, an incredible non-profit that supports the recovery process for addicts and their families. Today, Mike now has his own business, Ousley Handyman Services, is getting married in November to a wonderful woman, and he also volunteers to support others as they seek help from addiction. I am so proud of how hard he has worked, how far he has come and how generous he is of his time to support others and give thanks! We love you!

Stan - Veteran/Police Officer

I can’t think of a better #WEATHERGUARDhero than my husband Stan. From his 4 years of service as a US Marine Corps to his current service as a Police Officer, he keeps on giving. During some of his spare time, which isn’t much, Stan is also an active member of a local veteran association that helps veterans transition to civilian life after returning from active duty. When Stan isn’t out protecting local communities, he is helping family and friends with projects. Stan truly is selfless and continues to serve all those around him.

Marcus - Plumber

I want to recognize my boss Marcus, no one knows the plumbing trade better than him; aerators for splashing faucets, identifying slab leaks and mapping out new lines for extensive remodeling projects. He’s got a solution for everything. People trust Marcus to get the job done, and Marcus trusts WEATHER GUARD’s van storage solutions to help him stay organized and productive each and every day. Kevin Martin - Veteran/FAA 

Kevin faithfully served his nation for over 24 yrs in the United States Coast Guard as an AETC. He flew C130 Search and Rescue missions throughout the country in some of the worst conditions while hundreds of miles offshore. Kevin served in Kodiak, AK; Sacramento, CA; and Elizabeth City, NC. He currently resides in Nashville with his family, LOVES country music, and currently works for the FAA, another public service to repair and maintain our airways for the flying public.

Kevin was also selected as the winner of our Nominate-A-Veteran Giveaway in 2019.

Cory Bono - Veteran/Reserve Parish Constable

Cory served in the Army with a tour in Iraq from 2004 – 2005 and worked as a Parish Deputy for 12 years in New Orleans. Cory was nominated by his friend, Bobby Jones, for supporting him for years through a series of life-threatening medical issues. Providing hospital visits, words of support, and a hand to hold, Cory supported his friend and fellow law enforcement official during the long fight for his health. Cory is currently working as a Reserve Jefferson Parish Constable and is an outdoorsman in his free time.

Cory was also selected as the winner of our Nominate-A-Veteran Giveaway in 2018.

Carlos - Contractor/Soccer Dad

My husband Carlos is AWESOME and I would like to nominate him as a #WEATHERGUARDhero! He works every day to build our American dream – he is a great husband, dad and now business owner. He works long days as a General Contractor and spends nights running soccer drills with our daughter and her team. His super cool matte black truck box is just about the only thing that can keep up with him! It’s hard juggling subcontractors, household demands and our busy family, but Carlos makes it look easy.
