WEATHER GUARD® Introduces Faster-Install Mounting Kits for Compact and Full Size Vans

Mar 7, 2018

New mounting kits designed to speed up installation time and improve security while in transit

Crystal Lake, IL – March 7, 2018 – WEATHER GUARD®, a manufacturing leader in truck and van storage equipment, today launched at NTEA a new collection of mounting kits for compact and full size vans. The innovative design offers additional durability features to protect against sudden movement during travel. By combining mounting straps with steel brackets, WEATHER GUARD uses a unique four-way stop design that provides an advanced level of security – limiting side-to-side and front-to-back motion.

“Our newest mounting kit designs give professionals the ability to secure and store their equipment in a way that leaves room for adjustments,” said Jeff Kotz, Senior Product Manager for WEATHER GUARD van equipment. “We’ve included new features that offer greater flexibility and customization without sacrificing security or reliability.”

Secure and Faster Installations
An easier installation process and flexible shelving options mean users can customize the mount to fit their needs, and do so faster than before. Unlike other mounting kits, the newest collection has no floor rails to keep the under area free for additional storage of wide or bulky items. Professionals will experience greater reliability with pre-existing holes and shelves that lock in place anywhere along the rail using a patent-pending twist plate.

The mounting kits include extruded aluminum upper rails, powder coated steel mounting plates, and hardware for two shelf units for both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle.

WEATHER GUARD van mounting kits increase storage capabilities while maintaining exceptional security and functionality. Affordability combined with high-quality design creates the foundation that every WEATHER GUARD product is built on.

The new van mounting kids will be available at national distributors beginning in April 2018.
